About Inder Singh

Accolades abound for executive and financial strategist Inder Singh, who began his career at American Express Company and currently is Vice President of Corporate Portfolio Management and Long Range Planning at Cisco Systems Inc. Previously, he acted as a technology-industry advisor to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

The publication Institutional Investor named Inder Singh one of the top three hedge fund analysts on Wall Street in 2008, as well as Best Up-and-Comer Analyst on Wall Street. Bloomberg Markets magazine named him one of Wall Street’s Best Analysts, and StarMine noted him as a top analyst for his accurate forecasts. Notable publications such as The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times have also cited Inder Singh for his achievements. While with Prudential Securities (now Wachovia Securities), where he worked from 2001 to 2007, Singh was a Top Fundamental Analyst for three years in a row and consistently ranked as a top-three revenue producer.

At Cisco, Inder Singh serves on numerous boards, including the Emerging Solutions Council, and is Co-Chairman of the Investment Review Board, which approves all of Cisco’s equity investments. He also played a key role in two of Cisco’s largest-ever acquisitions.

In addition to his work with Cisco, American Express, and Prudential Securities, Inder Singh has held several executive positions with Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and AT&T Corporation’s Lucent Technologies (now Alcatel-Lucent). He earned a Master of Business Administration from New York University as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering from Columbia University. Singh also holds Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc., licenses series 7, 63, and 86/87.

Inder Singh speaks English, French, and Indian. He divides his time between California and New Jersey.
